Sime Darby Auto ConneXion (SDAC), the authorised distributor of Ford vehicles in Malaysia, has announced a series of Ford Ranger Getaways for Ranger and Ranger Raptor owners. These events include off-roading adventures and training sessions designed to enhance driving skills and vehicle familiarity.

“The Ford Ranger Getaways training experiences are designed to help customers unlock the true potential of their Rangers and Raptors. We welcome more Ranger owners especially our next-gen customers to participate in these training sessions to learn more about their vehicle’s features and elevate their driving skills, safely and effectively,” said Turse Zuhair, Managing Director, Sime Darby Auto ConneXion-Ford.

Ford Ranger Getaways also allows owners the opportunity to network and build camaraderie with other fellow Ranger owners. Made ideal for owners who are new to 4x4 driving as well as experienced drivers the following programs are up for grabs.

Ranger 4x4 Off-Road Course and Water Rafting Thrills

Set for April 20, 2024, in Kampung Ulu Slim, Perak. This event combines a beginner-friendly 4x4 off-road course with the excitement of whitewater rafting along the Slim River.

Participants start with a convoy from Ford Ara Damansara. The rafting segment includes Class 2 and 3 rapids over an 8 km stretch.

Sarawak 4x4 Training Academy (Sar4Trac) Beginner 4WD Course

Scheduled for April 27, 2024, in Kampung Barieng, Bau, Sarawak. It focuses on teaching basic off-roading skills suitable for new and experienced drivers.

Training activities include navigating a variety of off-road obstacles such as Dirt Track, Frame Twister, Mud & Gravel and Water Wading. Participants also receive a Certificate of Completion.

Previous events like the M4TREC Beginner 4WD Course received positive feedback from owners for their quality instruction and practical experience.

Another test drive event in Saradise, Kuching – held in March 2024 – allowed customers to try the Next-Gen Ranger and Raptor models on specially constructed and challenging tracks.

Designed to help owners unlock the full potential of their vehicles, the Ford Ranger Getaway events are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
