The 2020 Mitsubishi Xpander has been spotted in Malaysia, indicating that Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia (MMM) is gearing up to introduce the new people mover here.

From the looks of it, we will be receiving the facelifted model, which features a revised front grille and other small details.

Back in 2019, MMM confirmed that the Xpander will be launched in Malaysia in 2020, but got delayed due to slow approvals by the then-government and the Covid-19 pandemic happened.

To recap, the Xpander is powered by a 1.5-litre naturally-aspirated 4-cylinder engine that sends 105 PS/141 Nm to the front wheels via a 4-speed automatic.

When the 2020 Mitsubishi Xpander goes on sale in Malaysia, it will be going head to head against the Perodua Aruz/Toyota Rush and Honda BR-V.
