Following its public Malaysian debut at the 2024 Malaysian Autoshow, Intro Synergy Sdn Bhd, the sole distributor of Neta vehicles in Malaysia has launched the Neta X fully electric (BEV) SUV.

Fully imported (CBU) from China, the Neta X is available in Malaysia in three variants:

• Neta X 400 Comfort – RM 119,888
• Neta X 400 Luxury – RM 127,888
• Neta X 500 Luxury – RM 135,888

The Neta X comes with an 8-year/180,000-km battery warranty, whichever comes first.

All three variants look similar and are powered by the same front-mounted electric motor that produces 161 PS and 210 Nm. The 400 variants are juiced up by a 52.49-kWh LFP battery with a maximum range of 401 km (NEDC) while the lone 500 variant is powered by a 64.14-kWh LFP pack with a maximum range of 480 km (NEDC).

The Neta X supports DC fast charging which would take 30 minutes to juice up from 30% to 80% SoC. However, Neta has not revealed the maximum voltage support for fast charging.

The Comfort variant lacks ADAS, a wireless phone charger, a power tailgate, and a powered memory driver seat. However, all variants of the Neta X come standard with a soft-touch leatherette interior, panoramic sunroof and a 15.6-inch touchscreen infotainment unit with Apple CarPlay.

It is worth noting that Apple CarPlay will only be available through over-the-air (OTA) updates.

The level 2 ADAS features available on the Luxury variants of the Neta X comprises:

• Autonomous emergency braking (AEB)
• Adaptive cruise control (ACC) with traffic jam assist (TJA)
• High beam assist (HBA)
• Blind spot detection
• Lane keeping assist (LKA)

The Neta X is available in 5 exterior colours - Glacier Blue, Jet Black, Sky Grey, Pearl White, and Amber Brown – as well as two interior colour options, black or brown. These colour choices are available for all variants.
