Launched in April this year, the facelifted 2022 Kia K3 GT, aka Kia Cerato or Kia Forte in other markets, impressed with revised styling and redesigned light features. Overall, the K3 GT is a very good-looking car and it looks even better against a backdrop of nighttime Seoul.

The K3 GT has Volkswagen Golf GTI dreams but it's lacking about 40 PS. Power comes from a 1.6-litre turbocharged petrol engine that produces 203 PS and 265 Nm. The engine is mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

The GT comes with new additions like multi-link rear suspension, Bilstein shock absorbers, upgraded brakes, as well as Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tyres.

To emphasise the sportiness, the K3 GT features red accents on the front grille, a rear diffuser, and dual exhaust tips. Like we’ve mentioned, the light design has also been swapped to mirror the new K3 Sedan’s design.

On the inside, the K3 GT gets a new fully digital 10.25-inch instrument cluster as well as a new infotainment of the same size. Red accents also decorate the interior to further emphasise the car’s sporty intentions so does the pedal shifters, and aluminium pedals.

Prices in Korea starts from KRW 27,000,000 (around RM 97,000).
