BMW Malaysia has teased the imminent arrival of the all-new 2020 BMW X5 xDrive45e.
The second-generation plug-in hybrid version of BMW’s popular SUV will be unveiled via livestream on 17th June, on both Facebook and YouTube.

The second-generation plug-in hybrid version of BMW’s popular SUV will be unveiled via livestream on 17th June, on both Facebook and YouTube.
Under the hood, the all-new X5 xDrive45e gets a 3.0-litre turbocharged straight-six petrol engine that does 286 PS and 450 Nm, hooked up to an 8-speed automatic transmission. The petrol engine is hooked up to an electric motor that does 113 PS and 265 Nm, allowing for a combined system output of 394 PS and 600 Nm.
For comparison, the older F15-generation X5 xDrive40e has a combined system output of 313 PS and 415 Nm.
