Spied: All-new 2021 Isuzu D-Max spotted at Westport, confirms CBU status

The all-new 2021 Isuzu D-Max has been spotted again in Malaysia. This time, the upcoming pick-up truck was spotted at Westport, thus confirming that it is imported (CBU) from Thailand.

If that is not enough, the Mitsubishi Triton parked beside it will further cement that notion, as the Triton is also imported from Thailand. The outgoing D-Max is locally-assembled (CKD) in Pekan, Pahang.

Just like the earlier Suzuki Swift Sport spyshots, these photos were kindly provided by reader Emmanuel Shirley.

These spyshots does depict several double cab variants of the upcoming D-Max, including what looks like a range-topping variant. Curiously, these spyshots did not show any single cab variants of the D-Max.

To recap, Isuzu Malaysia will be launching the all-new 2021 Isuzu D-Max later this month. Apart from getting the 1.9-litre turbodiesel engine, the new pick-up truck will also be getting an updated 3.0-litre turbodiesel unit.

Toyota's Kinto is getting bored, finds a way to make the AH30 Alphard and Vellfire sliding doors close faster

You know how some cars can be truly fantastic except for one minor detail that you just can’t overlook and it ends up ruining the entire driving experience. It could be a terrible head unit or a bad seating position. Well, some of the engineers at Toyota’s Kinto subscription service thought that could be the abysmally slow speed of the sliding doors on the previous AH30 generation of the Toyota Alphard and Vellfire.
