The Honda HR-V has received several notable updates across the board in Malaysia today, encapsulating a new colour, exterior updates, and a new touchscreen infotainment system.
Now with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay!
All four variants of the B-segment SUV will now come with a 7-inch Display Audio touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support. Every variant will also get 2 additional USB ports in the centre console for added convenience.
Meanwhile, the HR-V Sport Hybrid gets a nip-and-tuck consisting of new LED headlights (previously they were halogen projectors), LED fog lights and LED tail lights.
Capping off the look are chrome door handles, and a 3-spoke leather steering wheel - different from the previous half leather-urethane material.
Also, Platinum White Pearl - the Honda City's best-selling colour - will now be offered on the HR-V, replacing the existing White Orchard Pearl colour.

Honda HR-V 2020 sales figures
Last year, Honda Malaysia managed to hold on to its top position in the non-national segment for the sixth consecutive year, selling 60,469 units. Of those, the best-sellers were the City (34% of total sales), Honda Civic (20%) and Honda HR-V (17%).
Contrary to the City though, Passion Red Pearl was the colour of choice for HR-V buyers, with 30% of customers opting for that shade. Meanwhile, the V variant was the fan favourite too - making up 41% of all HR-Vs sold last year.
With these numbers, the HR-V maintains its No.1 position in the Non-National Compact SUV segment with a 73% market share as at November 2020.
