Honda has announced updates for the Japanese-market 2024 Honda HR-V – or Vezel as it’s known there. Prices have yet to be announced, as the model will only go on sale there in mid-2024.
Honda has announced updates for the Japanese-market 2024 Honda HR-V – or Vezel as it’s known there. Prices have yet to be announced, as the model will only go on sale there in mid-2024.
Aesthetically, the 2024 Vezel will sport an updated front bumper and grille design; the latter being wider but thinner than before.
At the rear, the LED rear taillights have been updated with a revised light signature.
Additional colours are also available now, notably Botanical Green, Seabed Blue and Slate Gray, including new dual-tone finishes as well.
On the inside, the centre console has been redesigned and now features upper and lower tray cubby trays. Otherwise, the overall layout and ergonomics are similar to the older model.
In addition, the 2024 Vezel also gets two new styling packages - the HuNT and PLaY – and four new accessories packages called the Urban Style, Casual Style, Sports Style and Active Style.
Honda has also improved the Vezel’s e:HEV i-MMD two-motor hybrid system, with an expanded range for EV-only driving, thus making it even more similar to a full-electric vehicle, albeit with its own generator under the hood.

The Honda Sensing ADAS suite has also been upgraded to include featuring 3 new features:
The Honda Connect app-based functions have also been improved. Now owners can use their smartphones to remotely open the vehicle’s tailgate.
Closer to home, the outgoing Malaysian market Honda HR-V which is available in four variants, is priced between RM 115,900 and RM 141,900.
