2022 Kia Carnival 2.2D 8-Seater High
Pros
A very well made car as a product. It's power train is proven to be reliable, It will run for at least 10-15 years maybe even more if you treat it well with proper maintenance like any other cars. (no, Malaysian has skwed twisted idea of reliability thinking it must last 20 years+++). Very versatile car true to its class "MPV". You can fit 8 passengers with all their 8 medium size luggages luggages. You can carry 2 person sofas, you can carry large cabinets.
Best of all, it has all the power in excess to pull all these load without effort. The engine does not revv all the time when going uphill with full load unlike certain recond models over hyped by other countrymen.
Very nice to drive, the car does not feel big, very nimble, turn radius is astounding, the ability to manoeuvre tight spaces is impressive.
Safety is also top notch and proven and tested: 5 STAR rating in IIHS and NCAP in respective countries at time of release.
Interior is techy and has luxurious feel to it (no, just having leather does not equal luxury, that is just shallow, the whole overall design dictates luxury)
Cons
You will be forced to be a good driver when driving this car: awareness of vehicles around you, how to break the car so you can break without your jittering, judgement of width of entrance, ability of passengers to get off your car, ability to keep to center of driving lane even when moving through curvy roads, parking straight and right on spot with enough space for your passengers and neighbouring vehicles to get down.
These are skills people rarely care when driving small cars such as the king of the road, which results in very bad inconsiderate driving and parkings.
Drive this car and you will pick up these skills, people will praise your driving skills.
