    BYD ended April 2024 by recording its best-ever monthly sales for exports, at 41,011 units, up 176.6% year-on-year. The figure excludes BYD buses, but includes BYD’s passenger sub-brands Denza and Formula Bao. To date, BYD has exported over 430,000 vehicles, including commercial vehicles.     BYD has yet to trouble the top-tier Japanese brands like Toyota or Honda in Malaysia’s overall car sales, but it will soon surpass second tier brands like Ford and Nissan.
