In the case of the Toyota Wigo, its virtually identical Indonesian-market Toyota Agya aside from bearing the Toyota logo instead of the Agya emblem and being a Left-Hand Drive (LHD) model for Vietnam and Phillipines.
However, the Phillipine market Wigo ditches the (88 PS/113 Nm) 1.2-litre naturally-aspirated 3-cylinder offered in Vietnam, for the (67 PS / 89 Nm) 1.0-liter DOHC 3-cylinder used in the Perodua Axia and Daihatsu Ayla.
Transmission options include a 5-speed manual and D-CVT automatic.
The all-new Wigo will be available in three variants: the J M/T priced at PHP 609,000 (~ RM51.1k), E CVT priced at PHP 684,000 (~ RM57.4k), and G CVT priced at PHP 729,000 (~ RM61.2k).
All variants come standard with ABS, VSC and Hill-Start Assist. The E ang G variants gain 8-inch Display audio system, whilst the G further offers a push start button.
Sales of the 2023 Toyota Wigo will start 17-July 2023, shortly after the launch.
Compared to its DNGA-based counterparts, our Perodua Axia is still the most feature-packed of them all. Despite losing out on the larger 1.2-litre engine, it offers the most comprehensive safety features; consisting PSDA and 6 airbags albeit on the highest-spec AV variant.

There's also the the entry-level Perodua Axia 1.0E MT, which is a first-generation continuation model; priced at RM 22k, making it the cheapest car in Malaysia.
