Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia (MMM) has announced that the Mitsubishi Xpander has continued its reign as the top non-national MPV in Malaysia.
The Xpander achieved impressive sales with 11,384 units sold in the Financial Year 2023, spanning from April 2023 to March 2024.
Speaking about the Xpander results, Shinya Ikeda, CEO of Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia, added "We are thrilled to witness the Xpander’s continued dominance in Malaysia. This achievement is a testament to our commitment to delivering high-quality vehicles that resonate with the needs and preferences of Malaysian customers."

Following its 2023 sales results – totalling 20,020 units (inclusive 8,636 units of the Triton pick-up), Mitsubishi remains one of the top three non-national brands in the country.
Looking forward, Ikeda shared his optimism for the brand's future. “Looking ahead to 2024, Mitsubishi Motors is continuously initiating changes for the better and an ownership experience of the highest standards.We are excited to keep moving forward and appreciate all our customers for their faithful support of the Mitsubishi brand,” he added.
To recap, the Mitsubishi Xpander features a 105 PS/141 Nm 1.5-litre naturally asiprated 4-cylinder paired with a 4-speed automatic transmission. The Xpander is available in a single variant priced at RM 100,980 OTR excluding insurance.
