To recharge or not to recharge, that is the question that all Volvo XC40 buyers will have to answer when they make their purchase.

Volvo has introduced a fully electric version of their compact SUV. They know it as the XC40 Recharge.

The XC40 Recharge is the first of Volvo’s new Recharge car line concept and is the first step the company is taking towards their global sales goal of 50% all-electric cars by 2025.

The Recharge has a power output of 413 PS and 660 Nm of torque. Volvo claims the XC40 Recharge has a range of 400 km.

On the outside, the Recharge is largely similar to the standard XC40 save for the grille.

But on the inside, the Recharge is equipped with a brand new infotainment system powered by Google’s Android operating system.
