Toyota has introduced a pair of unique gold edition variants to the Japanese market Toyota Alphard and Toyota Vellfire. The ‘gold motive’ styling upgrade is also extended to the sporty Modellista package variants.
Setting the Alphard S Type Gold apart from regular Alphard models is a gold Alphard badge on the grille. The regular car’s chrome bits around the car’s exterior have also been replaced with dark chrome and smoke plated items.

As for the Vellfire Z Golden Eyes (yes, that’s the name given), the headlamps LED projector housings are now finished in gold accents, while the regular car’s chrome trims have been replaced with a combination of jet black and smoke plated trims.
In keeping with the car’s gold theme, Smart Key is also gold.
The gold edition Alphard and Vellfire are limited only to the Japanese market, but you can be certain that some units will end up at your local grey importer.
