SAIC Motor Malaysia boosts aftersales cachet, announces 39 MG Certified Technicians

SAIC Motor Malaysia has announced the certification of 39 MG Certified Technicians, ready to serve the local customer base.

The technicians underwent rigorous training on both internal combustion engine (ICE) and battery electric vehicle (BEV) technologies, developed in collaboration with a local training academy. The curriculum, sourced from SAIC’s global operations, ensures these technicians are proficient in the latest technological advancements and industry standards.

In addition, in the past month, SAIC Motor Malaysia participated in international training initiatives hosted by SAIC Motor International, certifying technicians on advanced models such as the MG4 and ZS EV in Shanghai, as well as the MG5 and MG HS in Thailand.

Notably, among the 39 graduates are two female service advisors. The specialized training not only focuses on current model technologies but also prepares participants for future automotive challenges.

Looking ahead, SAIC Motor Malaysia remains committed to further upskilling these technicians in key areas, such as BEV and high-voltage battery systems, and advancing them from Junior to Master Technicians.
