The national police force in Thailand have added 7 Tesla Model 3 to its fleet. And it’s not just a regular Model 3, it’s the Performance variant.
The Tesla Model 3 Performance does 0-100 km/h in about 3.3 seconds and has a top speed of 270 km/h. Tesla claims the Model 3 has a driving range of 518 km.

According to DriveTeslaCanada who sighted the documents at the Thai police website, it costs almost 89 million baht (around RM 12 million) to lease the Teslas for 5 years.
All the cars are installed with the necessary police car equipment such as computers and light bars. With the Tesla Model 3, there will be zero fuel cost and maintenance costs will be lower.
