Looks like the price of the locally-assembled (CKD) 2020 Mitsubishi Xpander has been finally announced and it starts from RM 91,369 (excluding SST which is valid until 31-December 2020).

The 7-seater SUV has been well-received by Malaysians with 2,000 bookings made since its announcement on 22-October 2020.

At this price, the Xpander sounds like good value considering it is the largest B-segment SUV in Malaysia. It’s also cheaper than the Honda BR-V 1.5 V which starts from RM 93,420.

There’s only one variant for the Xpander which is powered by a 4-cylinder 1.5-litre MIVEC petrol engine (105 PS/141 Nm). This is mated to a 4-speed automatic that powers the front wheels.

Besides being larger than both the Honda BR-V and Perodua Aruz, the Xpander is also packed with features including a 360-degree camera, a large infotainment display that supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as plenty of storage compartments.

In terms of safety equipment, the Xpander comes with 2 airbags, ABS, EBD, ASC, BA, and HSA. The Aruz is still better equipped in regards to safety features.

There are 4 colours to choose from which are Titanium Grey, Quartz White, Diamond Black, and Red Metallic. The 7-seater SUV comes with a 5-year warranty with unlimited mileage.
