The new Nissan Almera is a pretty decent piece of kit; especially that turbo three mill. It’s capable of some impressive fuel consumption figures, a point that Edaran Tan Chong Motor Sdn. Bhd. (ETCM) is keen to drive home.
It recently held the Nissan Almera Turbo Fuel Efficiency Charity Drive campaign; a fun challenge that encouraged Nissan Almera owners to help make a positive impact on the lives of people who faced sudden hardship due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
All Almera owners had to do was submit their outstanding fuel economy readings and a total of 12,841 km was recorded. As the charity drive concept was 1 km = RM 1, a total of RM 12,841.00 was accumulated and the amount will be donated to a few charitable organisations.
The top 20 winners will receive an exclusive Nissan GT-R by Lego while the next top 30 will receive a special edition Nissan Duffle Bag.
To top it off, ETCM has also brought back the All-New Nissan Almera Test Drive & Win contest. 50 lucky customers will be rewarded with Watsons vouchers worth RM 500 each when they test drive the Nissan Almera at any Nissan showroom or pre-arranged doorstep test drive.
If they do opt to purchase either a Nissan Almera, Navara, X-Trail or Serena, they’ll enjoy an attractive 1.88 percent hire purchase interest rate.
For those that go with the Almera, they’ll receive for free the Urban accessories package worth up to RM 5,500. Buyers of the new Nissan Navara 4x4 2.5L Turbo will come with free the Premium accessories package worth RM 10,150.
As for the X-Trail, it gets bundled with the Aero Edition accessories package worth RM 5,000 while the Serena S-Hybrid comes with free 3 years maintenance service with parts and labour included.
“Better late than never.” Some despise it, others begrudgingly agree with it but he swears by it… much to the chagrin of everyone around him. That unfortunately stems from all of his project cars not running most of the time, which in turn is testament to his questionable decision-making skills in life. A culmination of many wrongs fortunately making a right; much like his project cars on the rare occasions they run, he’s still trying to figure out if another project car is the way to go.
