The Kuala Lumpur International Mobility Show (KLIMS) 2024 fever is on, and the latest model confirmed to debut at the event later this week is none other than the 2024 Toyota Camry (XV80).
It will mark UMW Toyota's second launch in a week, the first of course being the 2024 Toyota Corolla Cross facelift that will also be revealed then.
The company put out a social media teaser on Sunday, and it is clear ours will look similar to what's available in neighbouring markets like Singapore and Thailand.

Hybrid power is confirmed for the D-segment model too, pairing a 2.5-litre Dynamic Force four-cylinder engine (188 PS, 221 Nm) and an electric motor for a total output of 227 PS.
The battery has also been upgraded from a nickel-metal hydride (Ni-MH) unit to a lighter 1.006 kWh lithium-ion battery, enhancing overall weight distribution.
Anyway, what's left to know are prices, and given its fully-imported (CBU Thailand) status and higher amounts of kit, cursory estimates point to it hovering around the RM 250,000 range. The outgoing XV70 Camry is priced at RM 219,800 for the sole 2.5V variant.
