Aside from the C63S, Mercedes-Benz Malaysia has also launched the 2024 Mercedes-AMG GLA 45 S 4Matic+. Prices for the fully-imported (CBU) model start from RM 539,888.

Under the bonnet lies an M139 2.0-litre turbocharged engine, delivering 421 PS and 500 Nm, paired to an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission. Power is sent to all corners via the 4Matic+ all-wheel drive system. This powertrain propels the SUV from 0-100 km/h in just 4.3 seconds, with a top speed of 270 km/h, thanks to the AMG Driver's Package.

The AMG Ride Control with adaptive damping allows selectable ride characteristics between Comfort, Sport, and Sport+ modes.

Exterior wise, the new GLA 45 S gets AMG-specific grille, AMG Night Package, and a new headlight signature. More AMG bits include wheel arch extensions that are painted in the body colour, and the aerodynamic enhancements from the AMG Aerodynamics Package, designed to improve handling at high speeds.

The exterior design is complemented by the AMG Night Package, featuring high-gloss black elements, 21-inch AMG multi-spoke light-alloy wheels, and red-painted brake callipers. The panoramic sliding sunroof adds an open-air ambience, while the Manufaktur Mountain Grey Magno and Manufaktur Patagonia red metallic paint options give it a more distinct appearance.

Inside, the new GLA 45 S features the AMG Performance Seat Package Advanced, upholstered in Artico man-made leather and Microcut microfibre, along with the latest AMG Performance steering wheel in Nappa leather/Microcut microfibre.

The MBUX infotainment system, equipped with dual 10.25-inch displays, offers connectivity with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and a host of other features including MBUX Interior Assistant and MBUX Augmented Reality Navigation. Audio is supplied by the 12-speaker Burmester surround sound system with 710 watts of output.

Safety wise, there’s the Driving Assistance Package, Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC, Active Blind Spot Assist, Active Lane Keeping Assist, and Active Brake Assist. There’s also the Parking Package with 360-degree camera with Active Parking Assist.
