BMW Malaysia has just launched the sportier new 2021 BMW 740 Le M Sport in Malaysia, roughly two months after we first broke news of the model’s imminent arrival. The new 740 Le M Sport will complement the regular 740 Le in BMW Malaysia's line-up.

In terms of pricing, the 2021 G12 BMW 740 Le M Sport is priced at RM 623,800 (on-the-road, without insurance, with SST). Without SST, the model is priced at RM 591,503. Both prices are inclusive of a 5-year unlimited mileage warranty with free scheduled servicing.

Both the 740 Le M Sport and the regular 740 Le are locally-assembled (CKD) at the Inokom plant in Kulim, Kedah.

As the name suggests, differentiating the 740 Le M Sport from the regular 740 Le is the M Sport kit, encompassing the M Sport Aerodynamic Package, 19-inch Style 647 M wheels, and M Sport brakes.

Step inside and the biggest difference is the inclusion of the M Sport steering wheel. The rest of the 740 Le’s interior, including the BMW Individual Alcantara Anthracite headliner, power-adjustable seats, quad-zone automatic air-conditioning remain unchanged.

Infotainment duties are taken care of by a 10.25-inch infotainment system and a 16-speaker Harman Kardon audio system, while the driver gets a 12.3-inch BMW Live Cockpit Professional digital instrument cluster. Two 10-inch touchscreen monitors are provided for the rear passengers.

The G12 BMW 740 Le M Sport is available in four colours – Bernina Grey with Amber effect, Carbon Black Metallic, Donington Grey, and Mineral White. As for interior upholstery, buyers have the choice between Black or Cognac Nappa leather upholstery.
