The Mitsubishi XPander is a remarkably resilient 7-seater family car. Despite facing competition from newer and cheaper rivals like the Perodua Alza, it managed to sell nearly 12,000 units in 2023. This means that, on average, 1,000 new car buyers each month chose the XPander over the more affordable Perodua Alza.
As of June 2024, cumulative sales of the XPander since its Malaysian launch in November 2020 totaled 38,791 units. To celebrate the upcoming 40,000th unit milestone, Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia (MMM) is offering a RM 10,000 travel voucher to the lucky customer who buys the 40,000th XPander, allowing them to choose their dream destination.
“Our journey in Malaysia has been nothing short of extraordinary, and reaching the 40,000th unit sales milestone for the XPander is a testament to the trust and loyalty of our customers,” said Shinya Ikeda, CEO of MMM.
