Mercedes-Benz is counting down the minutes to the world premier of the all-new Mercedes-Benz GLA with a teaser video on the brand’s official Twitter account.
A teaser sketch of the facelift GLA, released a few days ago shows that the compact SUV will feature even more rounded edges than the pre-facelift.
The rounded edges prove that the all-new GLA is staying true to Mercedes’s wish to create a greater point of difference from the larger cars and the compact car range.

The teaser video on Twitter gives us just a little more glimpse of the changes made to the front fenders and the lack of shoulder lines on the all-new GLA.
What we know of the all-new Mercedes-Benz GLA so far:
The car will most likely mirror the offerings on the latest A-Class. So the all-new Mercedes-Benz GLA will be based on the Mercedes’s second generation Modular Front Architecture (MFA2) and will have all the latest technologies from the brand’s latest range of compact cars like a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system with the latest Mercedes-Benz User Experience (MBUX).
Other than that, the all-new GLA will most probably have a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine or a 1.3-litre turbocharged engine to power the car.
For more details, I guess we will have to wait for a few more hours to find out! Meanwhile, watch the video teaser on Twitter here.
There isn’t a time in memory that doesn’t involve staring at cars. After discovering the excitement of watching Schumacher vs Hakkinen, Formula 1 became a major part of life. The love for cars and F1 ultimately led to a job with CAR Magazine. The untimely death of the magazine meant a hiatus from cars at lifestyle women’s magazine Marie Claire before another opportunity came knocking again.
