In January 2019, Bermaz Motor, the official distributor of Mazda vehicles in Malaysia announced that all new Mazda models (except the BT-50 pick-up) registered from 1 January 2019 onwards will come with a 5-Years/100,000 km Warranty and Free Scheduled Service.

This makes Mazda the only Japanese brand in the country to offer such a comprehensive aftersales warranty and maintenance coverage. It is also an upgrade from the company’s previous coverage of 3-Years/60,000 km.
The Free Service package is in accordance with the manufacturers recommended service schedule of every 6 months or 10,000 km, whichever comes first. The Free Service package is also inclusive of parts, labour and lubricants. So technically, you do not have to spend a single dime on your Mazda’s maintenance for 5-Years/100,000 km.
