Remember when BMW launched the G22 4-Series back in June and we were all (mostly) aghast at its controversial design? Well, hide your kids because the 2021 BMW M3 and M4 photos are leaked.
Ahead of their 23-September launch, the images were apparently uploaded on Reddit before it got taken down and reuploaded in a BMW forum.

From the looks of things, it appears that the G80 M3 and G84 M4 both sport BMW’s vertically long kidney grilles. Some might love the different direction the 2 new M cars are taking with this very distinct design but I can’t help but see the design of the front as a deranged rabbit or gopher.
If you can bear the looks, the G80 M3 and G84 M4 will have impressive powertrains. There will be a 6-speed manual variant with RWD and an output of 480 PS as well as a Competition model that comes with AWD and a power output of 510 PS that is mated to an 8-speed DCT gearbox.
As controversial as it looks, we’ll have to see whether this can translate to good sales for the legendary performance M cars.
