When the Drift King Keiichi Tsuchiya starts his own YouTube channel, you’re probably expecting nothing but tuned cars and exotic machinery going full throttle on the touge or one of the many circuits littering Japan but let’s not forget that the man is still very much human and like all mortal beings, requires the occasional sustenance.
No, he doesn’t take a swig of racing fuel or a chug of engine oil and keeps on going. In fact, seems like Dorikin loves himself the occasional Happy Meal from McDonald’s.

In between shooting track impressions of the new Type-R at the iconic Sodegaura Forest Raceway in Chiba for his Drift King Television channel, Tsuchiya and some friends take the Civic Type-R for a food run.
Being a responsible citizen, Dorikin never gives the performance sedan the full beans but does demonstrate the acceleration with a couple of quick pulls that stays within legal speed limits.
Tsuchiya was particularly blown away by the quick build up of boost, with it kicking in just above 2,000 RPM all the way to the redline.
