The Malaysia-bound Honda WR-V has received the full 5-star crash test rating by ASEAN NCAP, putting it on par with rivals such as the Perodua Ativa and Toyota Raize.
ASEAN NCAP crash tested the top-spec RS variant with Honda Sensing under the latest 2021-2025 protocol, whereby the little WR-V scored 77.07 points out of a maximum 100 points.

In Adult Occupant Protection, the Honda WR-V scored 27.41 points out of a maximum 32 points, as the SUV only managed to provide adequate protection for the crash test dummy’s chest and right leg. For comparison, the Ativa scored 29.98 points in the same category.
As for Child Occupant Protection, the Honda WR-V scored 42.79 points out of a maximum of 51 points and 16.37 points in Safety Assist.
In Indonesia where the Honda WR-V is currently on sale, it is priced between IDR 271.9 million (~RM 77k) to IDR 309.9 million (~RM 88k).
Closer to home, Honda Malaysia has yet to confirm the availability of the WR-V here, but considering that the WR-V was developed as a regional product, it would be logical for the model to be introduced here in the near future.
