The BMW iX xDrive50 Sport is now available in Malaysia, priced at RM 546,800 (OTR without insurance). The new variant sits on top of the xDrive40 and xDrive40 Sport variants.

Specs wise, the BMW iX xDrive50 Sport practically mirrors the xDrive40 Sport. It wears the 22-inch BMW Individual aerodynamic wheels and 17-inch brake calipers in Blue. It also gets the BMW Iconic Sounds Electric that is developed by Hans Zimmer.

Inside, there’s the BMW Live Cockpit Professional with a curved 12.3-inch instrument display and 14.9-inch central display fitted, wireless charging, automatic air conditioning with 4-zone control, and Harman Kardon surround sound system. Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity comes as standard.

As for propulsion, the BMW iX xDrive50 Sport has a dual-motor setup on both axles for all-wheel drive (AWD) capability. Output stands at 523 PS/ 765 Nm, allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in 4.6 seconds.

It packs a 111.5 kWh (109.4 kWh usable) battery, allowing for a range of up to 630 km (WLTP) per charge. The onboard charger allows up to 11 kW AC charging, while DC fast charging is rated at 195 kW.

Also standard Intelligent Emergency Call, Teleservices, ConnectedDrive Services, Connected Package Professional, BMW Natural Interaction and Active Protection via the high-resolution BMW Live Cockpit Professional.

In terms of advanced safety features, the BMW iX xDrive50 Sport features the Driving Assistant Professional, Parking Assistant and new cruise control with braking function.

Standard exterior colour options for the New BMW iX xDrive50 Sport include the Mineral White, Alpine White Metallic, Black Sapphire Metallic, Sophisto Grey Metallic with Brilliant Effect, Phytonic Blue Metallic, and Blue Ridge Mountain Metallic.

Two new colours are also available with an additional charge of RM 6,200, namely the Individual Storm Bay Metallic and Aventurine Red Metallic.

For the interior, owners may choose between Interior Design Atelier in Mocha or Black, or opt for the Interior Design Suite in Amido or Castanea for an additional RM 17,300.
