Malaysia has no less than 14 production facilities scattered across the country responsible for local assembly (CKD) of cars and trucks.

Of which, the Volvo Car Manufacturing Malaysia (VCMM) plant is the nation’s oldest plant, as it has been assembling various Volvo models since 1966.
