The all-new 2022 Kia Sportage was merely launched less than a month in Vietnam before being their best-selling SUV for July 2022.

Based on the Vietnam Automobile Manufacturers Association (VAMA), the Sportage sold 744 vehicles in July, surpassing its competitors namely, Hyundai Tucson (653 vehicles), Mazda CX-5 (613 vehicles), Honda CR-V (535 vehicles) and Mitsubishi Outlander (302 vehicles).
The success of a car model is evidential with the sale numbers and the Kia Sportage has proven to be Vietnam's favourite SUV last month.
Nonetheless, the Mazda CX-5 remains the best-selling SUV overall at 8,410 vehicles sold in total while second place goes to the Honda CR-V at 6,402 vehicles sold. Coming in at third and fourth place is the Hyundai Tucson at 4,492 vehicles sold and Mitsubishi Outlander at 2,988 vehicles sold respectively.
Despite the overall sales of the Sportage's competitors, considering the fact that the Korean automaker managed to claim the No.1 spot in the SUV-segment is pretty impressive.
The Kia Sportage is available with a few engine options namely, a hybrid (HEV), a mild-hybrid (MHEV) and a plug-in hybird (PHEV).
It's clear that the 2022 Kia Sportage is Vietnam's favourite SUV recently and we can see why.
