A recent video by Proton Pakistan's facebook page has showed the Proton X70 being tested in high altitudes and extreme temperatures.
According to Proton, the testing was conducted from February to July 2020.
The Proton X70 was tested for over 50,000 km and the car scaled altitudes of up to 3,118 meters above sea level.
The Proton X70 had to endure temperatures as low as -10°C in the snowy mountains and temperatures as high as 52°C in the scorching desert.
Pakistan will receive a CBU version of the Proton X70 powered by the same 1.5-litre turbo engine in the Proton X50.
Despite running a smaller engine, the 1.5-litre turbo Proton X70 is capable of a top speed of 205 km/h.
Two variants will be offered in Pakistan, namely the Executive AWD and Premium 2WD. A 5-year/150,000 km warranty is included.
Local assembly of the proton X70 in Pakistan will commence latest in June 2021. Covered in camo, we are yet to see if there will be any minor design changes for the Pakistan market.

Proton x70 vs Mazda CX-5 (Comfort, Ride, Handling, Space, etc) Gaisss, want to know or get some advise by which car to go between X70 Full spec VS CX-5 2.0 GLS. Both of these car have their pros and cons. but i just cant make decision...Firstly of all, i like the function and comfort on X70 but a lot of ppl say the X70 makan minyak ( bad fuel consumption ).Then, the CX-5 is good in overall but when i sit inside CX-5 i can say X70 let me feel more comfort and luxury. What i feel is i like the inside of X70 and the outside of CX-5... need some professional to give some advise which i cant see it by reading specs.. tq What about their comfort ride and handling and space???😐
