Barring the headlights that are similar to the regular Haval H6, the rest of the H6 Coupe’s front-end is new, including a redesigned front bumper. The Haval badge now stands freely in-between the two grilles.
If that is not radical enough, wait till you see the rear-end of the H6 Coupe – it is completely new. Out goes the sleek-looking single-piece tail light found on the regular H6, now replaced with two individual LED units on the coupe model. A trim piece finished in what looks like carbon fibre connected the two tail lights.
The rear-end of the Haval H6 Coupe is also adorned by a large Haval script across the tailgate, chunky body kit, and a spoiler.
But that’s not all, as the Haval H6 Coupe can be specified with a host of bright-coloured trim pieces, including neon green, bright yellow, and orange. If subtle is what you’re looking for, the trim pieces can also be finished in black.
Powering the Haval H6 Coupe is said to be a petrol-electric powertrain, encompassing a turbocharged 1.5-litre petrol engine that does 154 PS hooked up to an electric motor. Preliminary details include a claimed fuel consumption figure of 4.9-litre/100 km.
Unlike the regular Haval H6 that has been earmarked for Malaysia, chances of the suave-looking H6 Coupe being introduced here is rather slim.
Fret not, as there are other Haval models to look forward to, including the Haval First Love and GWM Pao pick-up truck.
