A new exterior colour, Pistachio Green, is now available for the 2023 Ora Good Cat EV in Malaysia. It’s a single-tone exterior and is a lighter, pastel green compared to the two-tone Verdant Green.

Just to recap, there are two variants available for the 2023 Ora Good Cat - 400 Pro and 500 Ultra - priced at RM 140,500 and RM 170,500 (OTR without insurance) respectively.

The new Pistachio Green colour is exclusive to the 500 Ultra variant. Like the Verdant Green and Hazel Wood Beige colours, the interior colour is matched to the exterior. Inside of a Pistachio Green Good Cat lies a green and beige interior with orange highlights.

This is added to the single-tone selection of exterior colours for the 2023 Ora Good Cat which are Coral Blue, Hamilton White, and Sun Black.

Dual-tone options include Mars Red and Hamilton White which get contrasting black roof. Exclusive colours for the 500 Ultra variant are Verdant Green with a white roof, and Hazel Wood Beige with a brown roof.

Elsewhere, the 2023 Ora Good Cat remains as before. Standard features include an active air intake grille, intelligent automatic LED headlights (with welcome effect on the 500 Ultra), LED daytime running lights (DRL), rain-sensing wipers, and a panaromic sunroof.

There’s also a 6-way power-adjustable driver's seat and 4-way manual passenger seat, with massage and memory functions for the driver’s seat on the 500 Ultra.

Other standard fitments include all four automatic windows, five USB ports (one for dashcam) with one power outlet, interior defogging, wireless charger, and automatic air-conditioning with built-in PM 2.5 filtration.

A 7-inch multi-information display, 10.25-inch infotainment touchscreen, and Android Auto/Apple CarPlay connectivity come as standard.

In terms of advanced safety, the 2023 Ora Good Cat gets:

• Autonomous emergency braking + intersection (AEB)
• Low speed emergency braking (LSEB)
• Lane keeping assist (LKA)

• Lane centring assist (LCA)
• Wisdom dodge system (WDS)

The 500 Ultra adds auto-reverse assistance (ARA), fully-automatic integrated parking (FAIP), emergency lane keeping (ELK), lane change assist (LCA), as well as blind spot detection (BSD), giving it Level 2+ semi-autonomous driving capability.

As for the propulsion system, both variants of the Ora Good Cat are driven by a 143 PS / 210 Nm electric motor that powers the front wheels.

The 400 Pro gets a 48 kWh lithium ion phospate battery (LFP), good for 400 km NEDC range, while the 500 Ultra gives 500 km NEDC range courtesy of its 63 kWh ternary lithium battery. AC charging is rated at 6.6 kW while DC fast charging is up to 60 kW.
