The Proton X70 had to endure temperatures as low as -10°C in the snowy mountains and temperatures as high as 52°C in the scorching desert.
Pakistan will receive a CBU version of the Proton X70 powered by the same 1.5-litre turbo engine in the Proton X50.
Despite running a smaller engine, the 1.5-litre turbo Proton X70 is capable of a top speed of 205 km/h.
Two variants will be offered in Pakistan, namely the Executive AWD and Premium 2WD. A 5-year/150,000 km warranty is included.
Local assembly of the proton X70 in Pakistan will commence latest in June 2021. Covered in camo, we are yet to see if there will be any minor design changes for the Pakistan market.
