    Thailand, the region’s biggest market for battery EVs (BEVs), has nearly 99,000 units of unsold BEVs. For the month of June, 6,905 units of BEVs were sold, 11.6% lower than the preceding month. Total BEV sales in the first half of 2024 totaled 36,593 units, which is 9.4% up from the same period last month, but June’s 11.6% drop came after May’s massive 28.8% drop in sales, which was preceded by a 4% drop in April.
