    AC Mobility, the distributor of BYD passenger cars in the Philippines, has confirmed that it will be launching the BYD Seal 5 DM-i on 21st November. Unlike the larger electric-only BYD Seal, this Seal 5 is a plug-in hybrid (PHEV), powered by a 1.5-litre Atkinson cycle 4-cylinder engine and an electric motor. Battery capacity has yet to be confirmed but in China, where the Seal 5 DM-i is sold as the Destroyer 05, with 8.3 kWh or 18.3 kWh battery capacity. The pure electric driving range is 46 km
