Bermaz Auto’s (BAuto) 85 percent-owned subsidiary, Bermaz Changan Sdn. Bhd. (BCSB), has been awarded the distributorship of the Deepal brand of electric vehicles in Malaysia. Chery’s Jaecoo J7 is Malaysia’s best-selling non-national SUV for the month of October 2024, according to JPJ’s vehicle registration figures. Hyundai Motor Company (HMC) announced plans to invest US$ 479 million ~(RM 2.2 billion) in Malaysia between 2025 and 2030, aiming to expand its footprint in the country and across the ASEAN region, said HMC earlier today.
