Electromagnetic suspension system is composed of trip computer, wheel displacement sensor, electromagnetic hydraulic lever and straight shock absorber. There is a wheel displacement sensor at the connection between each wheel and vehicle body, the sensor is connected with the trip computer, and the trip computer is connected with electromagnetic hydraulic lever and straight shock absorber.

The mystery of the electromagnetic shock absorber lies in the electromagnetic fluid which acts as the damping medium, this electromagnetic fluid is composed of synthetic hydrocarbons and fine iron particles. Under normal conditions, these metal particles will be distributed in a disorderly manner in the liquid. With the generation of electromagnetic fields and the change of magnetic flux, they will be arranged in a certain structure, and viscosity coefficient also changes accordingly, thereby changing the damping. The intensity of the electromagnetic field can be controlled only by changing the electric current, that is to say, the control of this system only needs to change the electric current to achieve the purpose of controlling the damping coefficient.

Actually this vibration reduction process is mainly when the vehicle is driving on a bumpy road and causing the wheels to jump, the sensor will rapidly transmit the signal to the control system, and the control system will issue corresponding instructions to send the electronic signal to the electronic coil of each shock absorber. And the movement of the electric current generates electromagnetic field, under the function of the electromagnetic field, the viscosity of electromagnetic fluid is changed, thereby achieving the purpose of controlling the vehicle body and decreasing vibration.
