Lynk & Co expanded its presence to the southern region of Vietnam with the official opening of its new showroom in Ho Chi Minh City on 13-January 2024.
Positioned in the heart of the city's Central Business District and adjacent to the Vin Homes community, the four-story structure spans nearly 5000 square meters, making it one of Lynk & Co's largest showrooms to date.
It goes further by providing an all-inclusive and simple car-buying experience. A coffee bar, a dedicated automobile Handover room, Service Advisor and Communication Areas, and a VIP Room cater to various customer needs, offering a comfortable and practical environment.
The showroom embodies the brand's "More Than a Car" concept. The ground floor hosts the Car Display Area, featuring models such as the Lynk & Co 01, Lynk & Co 05, and the flagship Lynk & Co 09.
The Lynk & Co 09โs price was announced earlier during the brandโs debut in the country, priced at VND 2.199 billion (around RM 423k).

The flagship SUV is basically a Volvo XC90 underneath as it shares the same Scalable Product Architecture (SPA). The sole Vietnamese-spec 09 is powered by a mild-hybrid powertrain combining a 2.0-litre turbocharged 4-cylinder petrol unit with a 48-volt generator to produce 254 PS and 350 Nm.
The powerplant is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission that sends power to all 4 wheels (AWD). It also boasts 23 ADAS features including AEB, lane change assist, and corner brake assist among others.
The 01 is powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged 4-cylinder petrol unit (218 PS/325 Nm) and is paired with an 8-speed automatic that drives the front wheels (FWD). Price in Vietnam starts at VND 999 million (around RM 192k).
The interior features two large screens โ a 12.3-inch display behind the steering wheel and a 12.8-inch touchscreen infotainment display supporting Apple CarPlay/Android Auto.
Additional features include dual-zone automatic air conditioning, automatic anti-glare center rearview mirror, electric parking brake, and an 8-speaker audio system, 8-way powered driver seat, and panoramic sunroof.
The Lynk & Co 05 is a sleeker coupe-like version of the 01 and is powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged 4-cylinder engine with a higher output (254 PS/350 Nm). Power is also sent to the front wheels via an 8-speed automatic transmission. Official pricing starts at VND 1.599 billion (around RM 307k).
In terms of equipment, thereโs a 12.3-inch screen positioned behind the steering wheel, a 12.8-inch central touch screen supporting Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, an electric anti-glare mirror, and a shift-by-wire gear lever.
Additional amenities comprise an electric handbrake, dual-zone automatic air conditioning, powered tailgate, wireless charging, and a panoramic sunroof, and a 10-speaker Harman Infinity sound system.
In terms of safety features, the Lynk & Co 05 offers a comprehensive suite, including blind spot warning, active brake assist, sign recognition, lane-keeping assist, adaptive automatic throttle, and smart headlights. Among other noteworthy features are a 360-degree camera, tyre pressure monitoring system, and parking assist.

In local context, Geely Auto Group announced in November 2021 that Lynk & Co will be launched in Malaysia in 2025.
