Pros
1.Cute dimensions, very nimble control thus makes it easy to overtake and park. My wife love to drive this car to go shopping. 2.Moderate power, although it is not the top-class, but definitely enough to overtake at high speeds. 3.Low fuel consumption.
Cons
Compact space inside. I am 175 cm and 86 kg so it would be a big problem for me to sit in. If I set the front seats in a proper position, the rear legroom only has the space for 1 or 2 fists. So, it would be quite uncomfortable for long-distance drive.

Space

Space is absolutely not the advantage of Golf. Head room is quite OK, but it is quite hard to strike a balance between front and rear seats. Besides, the boot space is also quite small, not enough to place the packages of my wife (from e-commercial).

Power

The 1.4T engine and the 150 PS horsepower is great for such a small hatchback. I need to step the acceleration pedal a bit hard at first and wait for the power feedback. And then I can feel the quick acceleration.

Ride & Handling

I like the touch feeling of the steering wheel. Turning is precise, extremely easy to make a U-turn in the city. The steering wheel is light but it will weigh up as the speed up. And the transmission is smooth. Even my wife could handle this car easily.

Fuel Economy

Pretty satisfying. I used it for city commutes and It returns me 5.4-litre / 100 km.

Comfort

Seats support is OK, especially for the legs. And I can hear some tyre noise, this is not so satisfying to me but OK.

Exterior

Very handsome exterior! The most satisfying part! I have taken hundreds of photos of it. Lighting is cool too.

Interior

Traditional Volkswagen style. Good-looking though it is single-color inside.
