Once unbeatable, Proton lost its No.1 rank not because of Perodua, but the PC. How?

In the early 2000s, the hardworking people at Perodua were scratching their heads trying to understand why sales of their oldest model, the Perodua Kancil was increasing. Isn’t that a good thing you ask? Well normally, you would expect demand for an ageing model to decline over time. However, between 1995 and 2002, sales of the Perodua Kancil grew by 56 percent, from 39,856 units to 62,279 units, outpacing the industry’s overall growth by 6 percent. This is highly unusual because by 2002, the Ka

Want your car to last a million miles? Take advice from a man who did 3.2 million

Whether you use the metric or imperial measurement unit, the numbers on an analogue odometer usually only went up to 999,999. Hitting a million miles or a million kilometres then, would ‘reset’ your odometer. Although achieved by various commercial vehicles, it is quite rare for a private owned passenger vehicle to cross the million-mile mark. A million miles equals 1,609,344 km. On average, Malaysian drivers cover 28,188 km in a year. That means the average Malaysian would take 57 years to hit

Mugen is founded by Mr. Honda’s only son Hirotoshi, and this is his story

Mugen is synonymous with Honda, but not quite in the same way Gazoo Racing is with Toyota or STi is with Subaru. This is despite the fact that Mugen has a much longer history – since 1973 - and is the only one who can boast of victories in Formula One (1999, Jordan-Honda). For many people in this part of the world, their first encounter with the Mugen brand is on some tacky stickers on a badly modified Honda, partly because Mugen is independent from Honda, which also means that it doesn't benefi

Something is clearly not right when a brand like Porsche tops the list of a consumer-friendly buying guide so take this with a pinch of salt. But Consumer Reports is not wrong
