As the Honda City was given a rejuvenated look last year, so shall its hatchback twin. Camouflaged units of the Honda City Hatchback facelift were spotted in Thailand in 2023 and it seems set to make its world debut in the Kingdom later this year.
Undisguised units of the updated City Hatchback have been popping up on social media lately with the comments being mixed on the new look. The B-segment hatchback gains revised front and rear bumpers and could likely gain a few features as seen on its sedan twin like Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) with Low-Speed Follow (LSF).
As seen in previous spyshots, the revised City Hatchback also receives a new sporty black wheel design for the higher-grade RS variant.
The redesigned front bumper received plenty of mixed feedback with commenters from Thailand generally liking the sporty looks while Malaysian users were mostly negative. Many compared the lower splitter design to a vacuum cleaner.
Which side do you agree with? Honda Thailand has not announced anything official yet on the City Hatchback facelift’s launch in the Kingdom. Still, it is likely to debut at the 2024 Thai Motor Expo later this year.
Back in Malaysia, the pre-facelift Honda City Hatchback is locally assembled (CKD) in Pegoh, Melaka and is available in the following variants:
