Surprise, surprise. It looks like the 2020 Volkswagen Golf GTI Mk8 stealthily got on our shores as one was recently spotted testing on Genting roads.
Decked in Kings Red Metallic, we can tell that this is a GTI by a few ways: a telltale badge on its grille, front fascia design, unique wheels and twin-tailpipes.

Is it CKD?
Judging by how its unusual for CBU cars to wear Pahang trade plates and VW has a plant in Pekan, this likely points that the GTI is being worked on there.
Which could mean that the hot hatch could make an earlier-than-expected entry here.
Now, who wants one?
