Following their preview in July, we now have the confirmed prices of the Mercedes-Benz EQB and EQC – the EV counterparts of the GLB and popular GLC SUVs.
To recap, the imported (CBU) from Germany Mercedes-Benz EQB 350 is powered by two electric motors, one on each axle, making it an electric all-wheel drive (AWD) SUV.
Combined, these motors are capable of delivering 292 PS and 520 Nm, and are juiced by a 66.5 kWh battery pack.
The total driving range is claimed between 388 km - 423 km and will require around 6 hours to fully recharge with an 11 kW AC charger, or about 32 mins with a 100 kW DC fast charger (10 - 80 percent).
As for the EQC 400, it is also powered by two electric motors giving it AWD capability, and punches out a total output of 408 PS and 760 Nm.
Fully juiced, the EQC 400 is claimed to having a driving range 373 km - 437 km, and will require about 7.5 hours to fully recharge with an 11 kW AC charger, or about 40 mins with a suitably fast 100 kW DC fast charger (10 - 80 percent).
Power comes from an 80 kWh battery pack located in the floor pan of the SUV.
Arvind can't remember a time when he didn't wheel around a HotWheels car. This love evolved into an interest in Tamiya and RC cars and finally the real deal 1:1 scale stuff. Passion finally lead to formal training in Mechanical Engineering. Instead of the bigger picture, he obsesses with the final drive ratio and spring rates of cars and spends the weekends wondering why a Perodua Myvi is so fast.
