Prices of the BMW i7 in Malaysia

The BMW i7 was officially launched in July 2023, starting with the BMW i7 xDrive60 M Sport, priced at RM 729,800 inclusive of the 5-year extended warranty and service package.

BMW Malaysia followed up with the i7 M70 and i7 eDrive50 variants, respectively, but both have since been discontinued. 

Currently, the i7 xDrive60 M Sport remains the sole BEV variant, sold alongside two 7 Series variants, priced as follows, inclusive of the extended warranty package:

• 750e xDrive: RM 656,300 
• 750e xDrive M Sport: RM 713,400 
• i7 xDrive60 M Sport: RM 742,950

The i7 xDrive60 is powered by a 101.7 kWh battery which enables a WLTP range of up to 625 km Max AC and DC charging are rated at 11 kW and 195 kW, respectively.

Powered by two electric motors on the front and rear axle, the i7 xDrive60 delivers 544 PS and 745 Nm of torque. 

Why choose a pre-owned BMW i7?

Well, why not, buying one of these pre-owned units nets you a RM 180k discount; offering savings of over 20 percent over a brand-new unit. Also note, that the advertised price could still be negotiated for even more savings.

Though WapCar’s Car for Sale page also lists some 2022 units at around the RM 530k mark, the 2023 units in particular are less than or just about 1 year old, as good as new considering they have less than 5,000 km mileage covered or at most under 10,000 km, with their warranties intact.

Upon inquiry, all vehicles are offered with the optional 5-year extended warranty, which means they still have about 4 years of warranty left. This includes the 8-year battery warranty as well.

On the downside, these units are registered, hence you will have to go through the JPJ registration plate exchange process if you intend to change the registration number.
