COTY 2020: Which car deserves to be WapCar's Car of the Year 2020? 01

Could it be the Xpander, X50, or Hilux Rogue?

2020 has been a challenging year for many but it is coming to an end. Still, there have been some exciting cars launched in spite of these trying times.

With that being said, bringing this year to a close is WapCar’s first-ever Car of the Year awards, and you can be a part of it!

Fancy the new Almera?

That’s right, you can help to choose the cars that deserve our coveted prize (which is probably an Oscar trophy with Adrian’s face)! Voting will begin on 18-December 2020 so mark your calendars!

In order to qualify, the cars selected have to be launched in Malaysia in 2020, so that means the Ford Bronco doesn’t count as it’s not launched here, nor is the Mazda 3 since it was launched last year.

According to our data, there have been nearly 80 new cars launched here in 2020. Some that probably even slipped your mind including the Honda Civic facelift, the Mercedes-Benz GLB, the 11-seater Kia Grand Carnival, and the Perodua Bezza facelift.

Is the Elantra or Tiguan Allspace your fave?

But rather than troubling you with all 80 models, we have shortlisted 18 models that are split into three categories. The WapCar team has our own favourites too which we hope all of you will look forward to in the coming days.

Coincidentally, we will only reveal these 18 models on 18-December 2020. So, if you want to know what are the cars you can vote for as WapCar's Car of the Year 2020, be sure to come back here on the 18th!
