When the Movement Control Order (MCO) was implemented the government also imposed a a strict curfew for the entire country. But as we enter the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO), Defence Minister, Ismail Sabri, announced today that the curfew will be officially lifted.
The lifting of the curfew follows the end of the 10 km travel restriction now that we are observing a Conditional Movement Control Order. The decision to lift the curfew is made in anticipation for a smooth flow for those planning to travel across states in the upcoming few days.
Even though both the curfew and the 10 km travel restriction has been lifted, the government reminds everyone to remain vigilant during the CMCO.
