TC Euro Cars (TCEC) has launched the facelifted 2021 Renault Megane RS 300 Trophy, priced at RM 326,476 (OTR without insurance, with SST discount). The hot hatch will also be available for subscription, with monthly fee from RM 5,200 for a 3-year plan.

The Renault Megane RS 300 Trophy features an upgraded 1.8-litre turbocharged 4-cylinder engine that churns out 300 PS and 420 Nm of torque (compared to 280 PS/390 Nm from before), paired exclusively to a 6-speed dual-clutch transmission (no more manual option). 0-100 km/h sprint time is rated at 5.7 seconds.

Changes to the exterior include new full LED headlamps and revised daytime running lights on the front, new rear LED lighting signature, new 19-inch wheels with diamond cut finishing and red accent, plus the new Flame Red colour as seen here.

Inside, the 7-inch touchscreen infotainment display is now in horizontal orientation, compared to vertical from before. Apple CarPlay/Android Auto connectivity is supported. The centre console is also revised, with an additional knob.

As before, the 4-wheel steering system is present to enhance agility as well as high speed stability. It features a Torsen mechanical Limited Slip Differential for improved traction in corners. Each absorber features clever hydraulic compression stops to improve everyday drivability.

The Renault Megane RS 300 Trophy is covered with a 3-year/100,000 km warranty, whichever comes first. There are 5 colours available to choose – Flame Red, Diamond Black, Pearl White, signature Liquid Yellow (additional RM 9,000) and Orange Tonic (additional RM 9,000).
