Overview

Initially launched in Malaysia with the E300 Avantgarde variant priced at RM 456k, the W212 E-Class featured a 3.0-litre naturally aspirated V6 engine producing 231 PS and 300 Nm, paired with a 7-speed (7G-Tronic) automatic transmission.

The entry-level E200 CGI and mid-range E250 CGI variants followed in 2010, priced at RM 370k and RM 410k, respectively. Both were powered by a 1.8-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine (M271), with the E200 producing 184 PS and 270 Nm, and the E250 generating 201 PS and 310 Nm.

The W212 E-Class was succeeded by the W213 in 2016, marking the end of an era for the stately and refined W212.
