Overview
Lexus Malaysia introduced the new RX in Malaysia, 2019, giving its mid-sized luxury SUV a much-needed update. The 2019 Lexus RX is available for 3 variants: 2019 300 Premium, 2019 300 Luxury, and 2019 300 F Sport. Its price range is from RM 406,000 to RM 439,888.
Currently, Lexus RX is competing against its main rivals: Infiniti QX70, Volvo XC90, and BMW X5.

Exterior
Design
The 2019 Lexus RX has redesigned an updated spindle front grille to harmonize visual flow. A mildly-refreshed rear end helps to complete the exterior of the new RX. New tail lights and a reprofiled bumper help to keep the new RX looking fresh.

Lighting
All variants of 2019 Lexus RX are equipped with the Auto Headlamps, Daytime Running Lights (DRLs), Front & Rear Headlights and Interior Lightings (Map Lights and Ambient Lights). All variants are loaded with the 3 LED Projectors headlights and LED Combination tail lamps.
Wheels
Towards the side of the new RX, the Premium and Luxury variants receive newly-redesigned 20-inch alloy wheels, while the F Sport variant receives similar looking wheels as the older model.

The dashboard of 2019 Lexus RX is well-placed and practical, beneath the touchscreen is two front AC vents (Dual-zone Automatic Climate Control System) with a clock in the middle. And there are plenty of physical buttons. Alongside the transmission gear is two cup holders and there is a glove box under the centre armrest.

Space and Practicality
As for the interior space of the new RX, there are more USB charging ports than before, as Lexus has placed 2 USB ports beside the Qi wireless charging pad. Apart from the additional USB ports, the new RX is now compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Besides, there are also 4 cup holders in total, 2 at the front and 2 at the rear.
Boot
For all variants of 2019 Lexus RX, the boot volume is 521 litres and they are equipped with the powered boot operation. A simple kicking would be enough to open the boot. This allows the rear door to be accessed even if your hands are busy.
